The 39th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade was held on Saturday March 15, 2008 in Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Judging Guidelines
The following are the 7 categories in which the entrants may be judged.
  1. Individual or couple costume.
  2. Best overall float.
  3. Most unique on wheels (skateboard, bicycle, car, truck, rollerblades, horse and buggy, motorcycle, etc.).
  4. Most original idea related to theme: "Uniting the Orange & Green and a'we in between".
  5. Best youth group.
  6. Best group costumes/apparel of five or more.
  7. Best non human entries (crustaceans, fish , dogs, cats, mammals, horses, insects, etc.).
There will be an eighth category which will be awarded to the individual/group that has the highest score:
BEST of the BEST!


The floats will be judged on the following criteria:
  1. Originality/creativity related to the theme: "Uniting the Orange & Green and a'we in between".
  2. Music related to the theme, Ireland and St. Croix.
  3. Variety of costumes related to the theme.
